The Mentor Journey

Session 1

Fostering Trust & Connection

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Get to know each other
  • Review the mentoring journey
  • Discuss goals

Sessions 2–5

Mentoring

Each session begins with a check-in, followed by work toward your goals. The final portion covers next steps, commitments, and the coaching plan.

Session 6

Debrief & Reflection

A few months after session five, meet to discuss your progress, the impact of your efforts, and ongoing goals that will help you continue moving forward.

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to IPPS members in good standing who are qualified healthcare practitioners, including MDs, PTs, NPs, PAs, fellows, and residents.

Application Fee

Free for current IPPS members.
Participation is subject to the availability of a mentor in your discipline.

How to Apply

Applicants provide demographic and practice information, select areas of interest, and describe their goals and what they hope to achieve through mentorship.

How the Program Works

  • You are paired with a mentor whose expertise aligns with your goals.
  • You receive mentor information and instructions for arranging the first session.
  • You and your mentor establish goals and objectives to guide future sessions.
