Biography
Howard Sharp MD he is a tenured professor and vice chair for clinical activities in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at University of Utah Health, where he has practiced since 1995. He has served as president of the International Pelvic Pain Society (2009), and has held positions as chair of the FDA, gynecology device panel, chair of AGOG’s Practice Bulletin and Clinical Document Review committees. Dr. Sharp completed a pelvic and laparoscopic surgery fellowship in 1995. His areas of interest include myofascial pain, pelvic vascular pain, dyspareunia, and centralized pelvic pain management. He is performed over 500 vestibulectomies.
