Moving Forward Together As A Health Community
Healthcare professionals are experts in health, patient care, education and community. We encourage leadership and inspire teamwork as we try to grow our society and build relationships. IPPS is a welcoming place that promotes inclusivity and cross-cultural competency. We instinctively widen the circle during our annual meetings to welcome and value every individual.
The International Pelvic Pain Society is now, and always has been, a non-partisan organization. As President of IPPS, I recognize my responsibility to remain politically neutral, however, I do want to share this important message. As healthcare providers, we need to inspire community leadership and consensus building. We need to help everyone work together moving forward. Most importantly, we must remember that IPPS welcomes all people — regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or political beliefs.
As compassionate healthcare leaders, it is incumbent upon each of us to reach out with care, love, and respect to our colleagues and patients in need. Healthcare providers must provide a safe and supportive community that continually builds positive, supportive partnerships. Thank you for your passion and dedication to bringing people together in the healthcare community.
Moving forward together as one society with peace, love, and good health,
Amy Stein, DPT
