Welcome!
On behalf of the Program Committee and Executive Board, I am thrilled to invite you to the 28th Annual Scientific Meeting for the International Pelvic Pain Society, which will be held virtually on June 13-14, 2025. This year we're focused on showcasing how "it's all connected". We look forward to providing a virtual space for ease of access from the comfort of your home to this year’s meeting!
This year’s conference will feature stimulating sessions for the treatment of chronic pelvic and sexual pain including discovering the common thread between chronic pain, autoimmune dysfunction, and autonomic disorders as well as the emerging technology of "smart" dilators, photobiomodulation and sound frequencies. Furthermore, you can look forward to learning about fascia's fiber optic communication network, male pelvic pain, the influence of vaginal and gut microbiome on peripheral nerve sensitivity, and what diversity looks like on your brain. To celebrate another great year of pelvic pain research, you won't want to miss Saturday's "Fact or Fiction Trivia Pursuit" with our expert panelists.
This year’s Clinical Foundations Course prepares you for becoming a Certified Pelvic Pain Specialist by offering an updated and expanded curriculum on a virtual platform alongside a special 3-hour LIVE deep-dive and case-study discussion with a panel of our expert faculty members. Our Masterclass for Mental Health Specialists, "Treating the Whole Person: A Masterclass on Health Psychology Interventions for Chronic Pelvic Pain", will also be held virtually this year! Both of these don't-want-to-miss training courses will be available for registration during the Main Scientific Meeting. Stay tuned for the start dates!
We hope you can join us virtually this June and we look forward to seeing you soon!
