Dr. Allen is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. She received her certifications through Klose training and Evidence in Motion respectively. As an adjunct faculty member at the University of Rhode Island she lectures on breast cancer and lymphedema. Dr. Allen is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the national section on women’s health as well as the Rhode Island special interest group for women and men’s health.

Dr. As-Sanie received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and then her clinical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. She then completed her Masters in Public Health (MPH) in epidemiology as well as a clinical Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Chronic Pelvic Pain at the University of North Carolina. Dr. As-Sanie is the 2018 President of the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS). She has served on its board of directors since 2011. She is an NIH-funded clinician scientist whose research interests are aimed at defining the underlying mechanisms involved in the initiation and maintenance of chronic pelvic pain and post-surgical pain, with a focus on endometriosis-associated pelvic pain. Dr. As-Sanie is dedicated to the multimodal and multidisciplinary care of women with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and other complex gynecologic conditions (including uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, abnormal bleeding, and ovarian masses). He was awarded by International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS) in year 2009 for his work on the experimental treatment of endometriosis. He used to work as invited faculty and research associate at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, USA. Dr. Attar is currently advisory board member of IPPS. He has published more than hundred of papers on peer revieved journals. He established Pelvic pain and Endometrioisi Society of Turkey and is a current President of this society. He published books and book chapters in national and international publications. He has been invited to many international and national meetings as a speaker and key note lecturer. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of CANsage, the Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence. As Chair of the International Liaison Committee, she serves on the Board of the International Pelvic Pain Society.
